Mad Science NASA: Space Lab takes young explorers on an exciting hands-on journey through the solar system and beyond! Each week, students will tackle NASA-inspired missions while exploring planets and moons, creating Galaxy Slime, making an icy comet, learning how astronauts live and work in space, designing a protective space shelter, and discovering stars, galaxies, and constellations. Through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and creative engineering challenges, including an exciting instructor-led engine-powered rocket launch, students will build, experiment, and discover like real scientists and engineers! Classes will take place on Tuesdays from 5:15pm-6:15pm (9/22, 9/29, 10/06, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27). All classes will be held at the Norwalk Community Center in the YMCA Stem Room (98 South Main St.)
